What happened in Boulder is very sad. However, what that shooter did was illegal just like every other person who does mass shootings. There are many people who want gun reform but that will cause a big issue. It will not serve its purpose of taking guns away from those who commit gun violence such as these mass shootings. It will only disarm those who lawfully use guns. It is like drugs just because it is illegal does not mean it will not accessible to those who want to use it for unlawful ways. I am extremely tired of all this talk about how the shooter was a white male who was having a bad day. First of all he was not a white male, he was a Muslim. Second we do not know his motive at this moment. I am also tired of hearing the speculation that the shooter was a ISIS sympathizer. Just because he was Muslim does not entirely mean he is an ISIS sympathizer. We will only know the motive after the investigation is done. It is wrong to assume that since he is a Muslim that he an ISIS sympathizer just like it is wrong that a white male is a white Supremist. I believe that those who want gun reform are trying to help but they do not understand that this is like making alcohol prohibited in the early 20th century with the 18th amendment. People who don't want to follow the rules will get their hands on guns. Then the criminals are the only ones with guns and the law abiding American has no way to protect them and their family.
